Tom Main is a Consultant with State Support Team Region 7 who supports Early Childhood leaders, Special Education Directors and other education partners throughout Region 7.
Mr. Main supports education leaders with Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), special education monitoring, the Ohio Improvement Process and Emergent Literacy throughout the region.
After working as a Special Education Teacher and Title One Teacher for years, he became an elementary principal in an urban setting. Mr. Main then spent over decade working at the Ohio Department of Education in Resource Management, Special Education and Early Learning and School Readiness.
Mr. Main holds an Ohio Superintendent’s License.
Mr. Main holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Miami University, as well as extensive undergraduate work in education at Ashland University. Mr. Main’s Master’s degree is in Educational Administration from Ashland University.
