The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) has developed a partnership with the State Support Teams (SST) throughout Ohio to loan hearing and vision screening equipment to schools and early learning centers. During the 2014-2015 school year, the UDL Center at OCALI, in collaboration with Michigan (MITS), Indiana (PATINS), Texas (TATN), Maryland (MATN) and MInnesota Department of Education, will host a series of live webinars. US DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION ANNOUNCES GUIDANCE ON BULLYING OF STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES!
As part of National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month, the U.S. Education Department's Office for Civil Rights (OCR) issued guidance to schools, reminding them that bullying is wrong and must not be tolerated - including against America's 6.5 million students with disabilities.
